I got so self-conscious that I could barely have a conversation without stuttering like I had a speech impediment.

It got so bad that EMTs started paying me regular visits at night to soothe my extreme panic attacks

I would call them in a hyperventilation fit week after week telling them “I think I’m dying!”

It wasn’t a pretty picture, and to be honest it’s a little embarrassing looking back on it…

But NOW it makes sense!

I was stressed from an OVERLY exhausting workload…

I was overweight from sitting and eating in an office cubicle for almost 10 hours a day…

I was so self-conscious I couldn’t even hold up a normal human conversation (much less make a meaningful connection)...

And when everything seemed like it couldn’t get worse, my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer

Talk about a downward spiral, eh?

Strange as it may sound…
this pit of darkness, depression, and anxiety is where I found a LITTLE LIGHT

Because of my mom’s cancer, my family and I had to learn a lot about nutrition quickly to make sure my mom didn’t eat any unhealthy foods that could potentially make her cancer even worse.

I became so dedicated to providing for my mom that I got back in shape “by accident”.

I know that might sound strange. “How does anyone get in shape on accident?”

well, let me tell you how...

Sometime in between my hours and hours of pouring over online health science articles about the effect of different diets and training styles on our health…

…hiring local health coach professionals to consult and coach with me so I could learn more about how to take care of my mom…

And honing my cooking skills to make healthy meals my mom could eat safely…

It's so simple that you will never figure it out on your own. The reason why is because we all have blindspots. As the name implies, we cannot uncover our own blindspots, we can only be led to discover them for ourselves. This is why I have coaches myself; we all need experts to guide us in every area of our life, including our weight loss, to get lasting results.
  What's the secret to losing weight?
It's so simple that you will never figure it out on your own. The reason why is because we all have blindspots. Our program gives you the tools where you learn how to fish. Once you've achieved your goal, you will have developed the lifestyle change to maintain it.   Every time I get to a certain weight, I either plateau or get comfortable. How will you help me breakthrough this time and keep the weight off?
Think about your goal as running a race with a prize at the end. At first, there is a motivational push, like a rabid dog nipping at your butt driving you forward. At some point, the pain diminishes and the push is no longer there. At this point, you need a motivational pull to keep going. We will teach you how to create a big bright vision for the future that pulls you through and keeps you going after you cross over that threshold point. It's kind of like how you look forward to a big trip you have planned -- you can't wait to get there!
  What happens if I don't lose weight or gain weight and get discouraged?
The scale is a good indicator of progress but it doesn't show us the full picture. This is why we use multiple progress indicators such as measurements and progress photos. And it's not a question of if we hit a plateau but when. When we've hit a true plateau, we will simply change one course of action and get back on track.
  What if I'm a very private person and I don't want my pictures shared on the internet?
I will never share a photo of yours without your permission. Additionally, we can block out your face and use an abbreviated version of your name so that no one will know who it is if you prefer. We do require you send us progress photos at least every four weeks, which are confidential, that we will use to tailor your program even more.
  Will you customized the program for me and my needs?
Yes and we will continue to adjust it as needed.
  How do I know this program will work for me?
Around 4,000 B.C. the wheel was invented. 6,000 years later, it's still round. We give you a proven formula that's worked for hundreds of men just like you, many of whom were struggling with their weight their entire life.
  Is this one on one personal training?
No. When you hire a personal trainer or nutritionist, you are paying for time where their business model depends on repeat customers. When you hire a coach, you are investing into a result where our business model depends on producing and sustaining life-changing transformations.
  What if I don't have any motivation or willpower?
That's one of the reasons why coaching is so powerful in helping you create a lifestyle change.
  What if I can't afford this program?
Let's imagine a scenario where your house is on fire. If there is a paper clip in that house, how willing are you to run inside and grab it on a scale from 1 - 10? The answer is probably 0. However, let's flip the script and say a loved one was inside, your spouse, child, or pet. Now how willing are you to run inside the same house? The answer is probably an 11.   I struggle with emotional eating. How can you help me?
It is normal and natural for food to provide comfort, otherwise, we wouldn't be very motivated to eat. We help layer in additional forms of simple stress management so that you can take back control of the steering wheel of your life and develop a healthy relationship with food.
  Do you include check in’s to make sure I’m staying on track?
Absolutely, Multiple times per week with full nutrition coaching and feedback to keep you on track.
  What if I can't lose weight or keep it off permanently no matter what I do?
There are three things you need to create a sustainable lifestyle change: the right skills, beliefs, and character traits. We help you develop all three.
  Do I need to train at a gym or can I train from home?
You can do this at a gym or at home, whichever you prefer.
  What if I'm petrified and feel paralyzed to make a decision?
That's normal. God put the best stuff in life on the other side of fear. Most people look down the cliff their entire life and never jump.   What are the different phases of your program and how long does each phase take?
Phase 1 is Cutting where we reduce and remove excess body and belly fat. Phase 1 lasts about three months depending on your goal. Phase 2 is Building where we get tight and toned. Phase 2 lasts about three months depending on your goal. Phase 3 is Maintenance where you have a lifestyle change.
