I didn't believe it was possible to do fitness For a living

I was working as a personal trainer before my job in finance but I never viewed it as a viable career option.

"How could you be so stupid?!"

I called my Senior broker the same night because I thought I had made a giant mistake and those were the words he said to me.

So I ended up getting rehired that Monday only to quit my job again a week later to finally pursue my calling.

But It was Not An Easy Road.

THE SELF-DOUBT KEPT CREEPING UP

I was working at NYSC as a personal trainer and on the side, I was doing some Social Media Marketing (this goes way back to 2015) and I decided to go all in on my new venture (because yet again, fitness didn't seem like a viable career option)

I lost sight of my routines completely and didn't know how to manage myself without structure and proceeded to become suicidally depressed as a 20 year old, not to mention, riddled with crippling social anxiety where I would deliberately walk on the other side of the street to avoid eye contact with strangers.

I ended up getting a job working at KFC... a licensed Series 7 & 63 Professional And Certified Personal Trainer.

I felt like a complete loser and just stuck. I wanted to change, my friends even tried to help me but I didn't know how so I ended up moving back in with my sister and nephew because I wasn't able to make ends meet on my own anymore.

Strange as it may sound…
Allowing myself to feel the pain of running out of resources and hitting rock bottom became my firm foundation.

I built my confidence back up through the structure KFC provided and applied for a job as a personal trainer working at Equinox. I remember while waiting at a coffee shop to walk into the interview, I was scratching my head and I saw lice fall down out of my hair. 

My nephew had the kind of hair lice can easily get into.

That was my breaking point and something within me said "NEVER AGAIN!"

I went on to ace the interviews, got hired as a personal trainer working on Wall st. (funny how the world works) and ended up becoming the top trainer at the club from month one up until I left month 12.

I left Because yet again,
"Fitness Was not A viable career option."

At 22 years old, I started a Content Marketing Agency for dealerships and leasing companies with a couple of my best friends in 2018.

Although we astronomically grew that business from scratch in less than 6 months, something within me did not feel mind, body and gut aligned.

I knew it was only a matter of time before the copious amounts of caffeine (and alcohol) I was having to suppress those feelings would come up to the surface.

So At the peak of our business, I left...
I fully resolved within myself that I was going to go full force into fitness no matter what.

And I really struggled in 2019, at 23 years old, to make it until I found a mentor and that's when everything changed...

  • I learned how to build a well balanced program encompassing exercise, nutrition and accountability that helped my clients actually get results unlike when I was working as an in-person trainer
  • ​I learned about the Information-Action-Fallacy where information alone doesn't change anything without being in the right rooms and enviornments that were offered to me by my mentor and his program
  • ​I was finally able to leave my job and go full time in 2020 on my own coaching practice and have never looked back since having helped over 534+ clients transform

I'm living my dream.

I finally slayed my dragon

This is the dragon that lives within all of us; the limiting beliefs telling us that you can't, you're not young enough, your metabolism is too far gone, it's too late -- some version of you're not good enough.

Once I learned that I needed a mentor to guide me to slay my dragon just like Luke Skywalker needed Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda, I knew that it was my calling to help others do the same.

This journey that we all go on to slay our dragons is known as The Hero's Journey and I've had the privilege of being that mentor for so many now in their own health and fitness journies.

Then another Senior Broker, who would come into our office frequently, Andy, pulled me aside. I thought to myself "Great, here we go again," bracing myself for another person I highly respected yelling at me for my stupid and impulsive decision to quit my job.

  What happens if I don't lose weight?
The scale is a good indicator of progress but it doesn't show us the full picture. This is why we use multiple progress indicators such as smart scales, measurements and progress photos. And it's not a question of if we hit a plateau but when and when we've hit a true plateau, we will simply change one course of action and breakthrough onto the next higher plateau.
  What if I'm a very private person and I don't want my pictures shared on the internet?
I will never share a photo of yours without your permission. Additionally, we can block out your face and use an abbreviated version of your name so that no one will know who it is if you prefer to ever share. We do require you send us progress photos every week or at least once per month depending on your starting weight, which are confidential, that we will use to assess progress and provide feedback.
  Will you customized the program for me and my needs?
Yes and we will continue to adjust it as needed.
  How do I know this program will work for me?
I've worked with over 500 individuals in the last 5 years so even if I was a complete idiot, I'd still recognize that there are patterns! So on our call, I'll let you know if I can help you based on where you're currently at. 9/10 times, I'm confident I can after reviewing your application and assessment from, and in the few cases where I don't believe we can, I'll simply refer you to a resource or someone who might be able to.
  Is this one on one personal training?
It is one-on-one.. however, there's a big difference between what we do and what personal trainers or even nutritionists, for that matter, do. The main difference is that with a personal trainer, you may see them 2-3x per week for an hour each. If you think about it logically, that's only 1.7% of your week! However, 90% of your results are going to come down to everything you do outside of the gym such as your lifestyle, habits and nutrition, which personal trainers (and nutritionists) won't be able to guide you with. Me and my team have your back 24/7 where you can send us the menu while traveling and you have a concierge in your pocket at all times to ensure you have support if you need it for the other 165 hours of the week.
  What if I don't have any motivation or willpower?
While a lot of our clients are self-starters, we have found that every area of their life is going well except for this one so we meet you where you're at and help you get to where you need to be even if it means we need to push you and hold you accountable on a daily basis. Get ready to have your feet held to the fire!
  What if I can't afford this program?
Let's imagine a scenario where your house is on fire. If there is a paper clip in that house, how willing are you to run inside and grab it on a scale from 1 - 10? The answer is probably 0. However, let's flip the script and say a loved one was inside, your spouse, child, or pet. Now how willing are you to run inside the same house? The answer is probably an 11. So it's not a lack of resources, it's a lack of resourcefulness and not seeing the true value of what you're getting.   Do I need to train at a gym or can I train from home?
You can do this at a gym or at home. Most workout at home.
